Comfort, not treatment.

  • Should I buy on Amazon or direct from the brand?+

For chairs where the brand handles warranty repairs (Osaki, Daiwa, Infinity, Kyota), buy direct — Amazon listings often route warranty claims back to a third-party seller, who may or may not still exist in year three. Real Relax is Amazon-native; direct purchase isn't common.

  • Is a 1-year warranty actually a problem?+

For a chair under $1,200, often no — repair part cost is low. For a chair over $2,500, yes — a single roller or motor swap out of warranty can run $400–$900 plus labor. We flag any chair where price-to-warranty looks mismatched.

  • I'm 6′3″. Is anything actually long enough?+

Eight of the 54 chairs we track have a verified track length for 6′3″+. Most marketing copy claims fit up to 6′6″; verified spec sheets disagree. Run the fit calculator for a filtered list.

  • Do massage chairs help with chronic back pain?+

We don't make medical claims. Buyers report comfort and relaxation; clinical evidence for medical relief is limited. Talk to a clinician if pain is persistent. Comfort, not treatment.
